Gem Pawnbrokers Inc, since 1947 has grown to be the largest pawnbroker and Jewelry Company in New York City. Gem currently has over 20 locations and growing.
We specialize in estate jewelry loans and retail diamond jewelry sales to the general public. Full time positions are available in management and sales assoc. Fine watch appraisers also needed. All candidates must have a proven track record and able to multi-task in a high pace environment. A well-rounded knowledge of jewelry and able to close cash sales is a must. You must have excellent customer service skills and GIA graduates with professional jewelry/watch knowledge is a plus. Growth and advancement opportunities available. This is a salary position with commissions.
Please note: This is a serious demanding position and you must be able to close cash sales on the spot. No credit card or instore credit is available. Cash and carry only.
This position has great hours and no evenings or Sundays.
